This piece has figured Flame Mahogany with a Carved Broken Arch Pediment and Crown Finial. The cabinet also has shelving with grooves at the back for plate display. Each top door has beautiful splat lattice work over the glass doors. The top drawer opens to reveal a writing desk with cubby holes.
Side glass doors and lower storage doors lock, and come with working locks and key. The bottom has beautifully bookmatched fountains of Exotic Mahogany grain. All these added features give it much character. This piece was inspired by designs of the 17th and 18th Century of American Furniture and was made with quality and craftmanship that is no longer available today.
